This course describes how we fall ill due to infections and what occurs at the molecular level. Course participants will then learn how pathogens causing a disease are identified, and what are the therapeutic options available. If the infection is not controlled or eliminated, a condition call "sepsis" can occur. Course participants are introduced to the many facets of sepsis and its management.
