COMPUTERISED TRANSLATION
Kursus ini memperkenalkan kepada pelajar tentang sejarah, latar belakang, asas dan teori serta aplikasi terjemahan berkomputer. Pelajar akan didedahkan kepada peranti dan perisian terjemahan terutamanya untuk terjemahan Inggeris-Melayu. Pada akhir kursus pelajar akan dapat memahami kaedah terjemahan menggunakan perisian dan peranti terjemahan dan menyediakan persekitaran terjemahan secara dalam talian mahu pun luar talian.
This course introduces students to the history, background, basics and theories as well as application of computer-based translation. Students will be exposed to various devices and software for translation specifically for English-Malay translation. At the end of the course students will be able to understand translation methods using software and devices and will be able to understand translation methods using software and devices and prepare a translation work environment.
